Assignment #1: Mary’s reading indicates that she is on the
independent level.
Assignment #2: Mary’s reading indicates that she is on the
instructional level.
Assignment #3: Mary’s reading indicates that she is on the frustration
level.
Assignment #4:
Mary is clearly on Level 2, instructional level. When given Level 3 she became frustrated quickly.
Mary reads somewhat fluently, but she stops at some words
waiting for help. She tries to sound out words that she does not know. She self
corrects at times. Mary has trouble comprehending what she read. She had
difficulty recalling details of what she read. I would have Mary continue to practice
reading on Level 2.
